Seguili. Benidoleig is an agricultural village cultivating the grape for
the local wine called Mistela. The town of Benidoleig offers a variety

be enjoyed through the beautiful orange groves with plenty of
sight-seeing available. The natural environment of Benidoleig offers the
country walker or cyclist their very own paradise. Sights from the

villages. Benidoleig boasts an interesting landmark, known as Las Cuevas
de Las Calaveras (the Calaveras Caves).These caves were discovered in
1768. As legend has it, they belonged to an Arab King named Ali-Moho and
his100 wives, all of whom died amongst the treasure whilst hiding away
from the Christian conquistadors. This is a magnificent natural cave
with stalagmites and stalactites, more than 300 yards long with great
domes rising to heights of over 60ft. Plenty of historical artefacts can
be found here along with both human and animal bones dating back more
than 50,000 years. The cave is situated on the road between Pedreguer
and Benidoleig. Should you seek a lively atmosphere, why not sample the
local nightlife in Jávea or Denia?- just 10 minutes away by car. Denia
is a delightful, cosmopolitan town by the Mediterranean sea, where the
sun shines almost all year round. Named after the Goddess Diana, Denia
is often referred to as the "Jewel of the Costa Blanca". It
nestles at the foot of the castle with 20kms of seafront catering for
all tastes. Situated to the north, there are sandy beaches which are
perfect for sunbathing, swimming or a lazy stroll along the shore. There
are also pedalos, jet skis and quad bikes available for hire. Denia
holds the EC "blue flag" for clean seas, and for your safety
there are lifeguard stations located at various points along the beach.
To the south you will find delightful rocky coves ideal for fishing,
scuba-diving or snorkelling. Alternatively there is Jávea with its
benign climate, incomparable coastline and warm and friendly people.
Javea occupies a central position on the Spanish Mediterranean
coastline. It is both a tourist and maritime town situated between the
capes of San Antonio and La Nao. The impressive and magnificent mountain
of Mount Montgo(2470 feet) lies between the two towns.
